Cesar Salad DressingCourse: Salads
Macros per 50g of dressing:
Calories: 94, Fat: 6.9g, Protein: 3g, Carbs: 6.4g
*1/2 cup raw cashews (soaked in water for at least half an hour)
1/2 cup water (+/- per desired consistency)
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp white vinegar (or can use lemon juice)
1/2 tsp maple syrup
salt per taste
2-3 tsp dried chives to add afterwards
*1 tbsp capers (optional, I didn’t add any)
- If you have a high speed blender, you don’t need to soak cashews. If you’ve soaked cashews, after half an hour drain water and transfer everything except dried chives to a high food processor and process till smooth.
- Transfer to a mason jar and pour on top of your salads or buddha bowls. Refrigerate remaining dressing for up to 7 days. Feel free to watch my YouTube video linked below to see how I made this dressing.
- *If you’re allergic to nuts, replace cashews with equal parts hemp seeds.
