Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mangoes or use pineapple
1/4 cup thick rolled oats (I used GF)
1 medium size beet (peeled, use frozen or fresh)
2 large handfuls of spinach (frozen or fresh)
1.5 cups water (+/-) per consistency
1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk (or use any other kind)
1 tbsp ground flax
1 tsp beet root crystals (optional)
*1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional, I didn’t add any to this recipe)
*Stevia if desired for extra sweetness (I didn’t add any)
Directions
- Toss everything in a high speed blender and blend till smooth. Enjoy as your breakfast on the go or during Summer!
