Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe Plaintains

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (or adjust per your taste)

  • 1 tsp Mango Chipotle seasoning (I use this) or use any other seasoning of your choice.

  • Salt per your taste

Directions

  • Cut Plantains at an angle about 1 inch thick. Toss them in a bowl. Add all your seasonings and gently shake to mix.
  • Air Fry at 400 F for about 15-17 minutes (per your desired crispiness) or bake in the oven at 400 F on a lined baking tray for 15-17 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy while fresh.

Notes

  • *This is also a great snack to prepare ahead of time to carry while on the go. Plantains chips will not be crispy when cold but still taste great.
