Cheesy Chickpea Pasta

*3 cups chick pea pasta
3 to 4 cups water to boil pasta
1 cup frozen peas
*2 medium size grated carrots
1 yellow or red bell pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp club house roasted garlic & peppers spice
salt per your taste
oil free marinara sauce
cheese sauce (see my Cheese Sauce Recipe
Directions
- Boil pasta per package directions. Drain water and keep aside.
- Water sauté your veggies with all the spices till soft, add marinara sauce if you wish and mix.
- For extra flavor and cheesiness, serve with my cheese sauce on top and enjoy!
Notes
- *Great ways to sneak in veggies to kids meal is by grating most vegetables. I find grated carrots work great and most kids won’t even notice its there.
- *You can also use any other whole wheat pasta.
