Ingredients

  • 1 carton of dehydrated potato hash brown (from Costco) or 4 medium sized pre-steamed white potatoes

  • hot water to soak dehydrated hash browns as per package directions

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp. tapioca flour

  • salt & pepper per your taste (optional)

  • 1 tbsp. chopped chives (optional)

Directions

  • Soak dehydrated hash brown in hot water for about 10-12 minutes.  After 12 minutes transfer hash brown to a dish and add all other ingredients. Mix gently.
  • Transfer to a hot non-stick waffle griddle and cook till your desired color/crispiness. Once ready, enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce and a side of veggies as a savory breakfast.

Notes

  • Tapioca flour can be substituted with arrowroot powder with 1:1 ratio or with 1/2 tbsp. of corn starch.
