Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup garbanzo (chick peas) flour

  • 1/2 cup rice flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (or adjust per your tolerance)

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped green onions (including the ends)

  • 1/3 cup red or yellow bell pepper finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp water (make sure batter is runny, add/decrease per consistency)

  • salt per your taste

Directions

  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, add green onions, bell peppers, cilantro and water. Mix and let the batter sit for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat non stick frying pan, keep it on low-medium heat and pour batter. Spread the batter thinly and cook on each side till brown.

Notes

  • Serve immediately with your favorite toppings or sauce.
